2008 Wonderful Wales!   Back to Travel

Wales, the small country to the west of England, is one of the world's best kept secrets. Scenically, the terrain varies from tall  rugged mountains, to lush rolling hills, to rich farmland to dramatic coastal cliffs. The Welsh people have a strong sense of heritage, and most residents speak both English and Welsh. It is common to see road signs in both languages. Quality crafts from years of long tradition can be found in abundance in he many quaint villages which seem to have been stopped in time.
